New York Fashion Week 💋

New York Fashion Week 💋

An unrelenting schedule of fashion shows requires convenient spots to take a break – and steal a kiss with someone special. So here’s a roundup of the places, restaurants and lounges where you’ll find the fashion crowd gathering but with enough cute corners to steal a smooch.

Let’s start with the stay. The Plaza Hotel has welcomed guests from around the world to enjoy its magic at the castle on Central Park South for more than 100 years. From the legendary Oak Room & Bar with views of Central Park and stunning architecture to the famous hallways and suites, there are countless corners to steal a kiss in stunning New York style.

Ready for a martini and a LOT of people watching? When Ralph Lauren opened The Polo Bar at his Fifth Avenue flagship, A-listers instantly fell in love with its dramatic interior, classic American menu and superb attention to detail. With a cozy wood-paneled bar and celebrity filled tables, no matter whether you’re sitting you’re sure to find a savvy corner lock lips.

No matter how much extra-curricular time you have during NYFW, put L’Avenue at Saks Fifth on your list. Sitting on top of fashion rich Saks Fifth Avenue this newly crowned gem has our kiss of approval, drawn to its fashion-centric vibe and with plenty of shadow-filled corners and a menu that takes its cue from the original Paris L’Avenue. It’s not wonder it has become a must-visit for lover from near and far alike.

Paris still on your mind? Frenchette has been one of the hottest reservations in the city since opening in Tribeca two years ago, and then went on to win almost every Best of 2018 restaurant list in town. It’s a French-ish bistro with the perfect lighting and intimate space for that not to be missed February kiss. Did we mention the cocktails? It’s one place to leave your lipstick mark.

SoHo bound? Of course you are. There’s no more chic spot to steal a kiss than on one of the turquoise banquettes inside the airy all-day café La Mercerie. The velvet fabrics. The flowers. The candlelit tables. Every seat in this Roman and Williams Guild-designed restaurant has out kiss of approval.

Long a favorite among stars and fashion insiders for that quick dose of energy, Sant Ambroeus has been serving coffee and food around New York’s most stylish areas (Madison Avenue, West Village and SoHo) for years. The interiors, authentic to the brand’s Milanese origins, make it the perfect place to find a corner for a casual yet elegant kiss.
