Makeup and personal care companies produce a huge amount of packaging – much of which cannot be recycled. So from the very beginning our team made efforts to be the greenest we could. Importantly we made choices that all but eliminated single-use plastic packaging, crafted boxes with PCR (post-consumer recycled) material, and found an alternatives to traditional plastic tubing: quietly perfecting lipstick tubes made of sleek recycled aluminum.
Now we are taking things even further. I am thrilled to introduce the Madame Gabriela "Kiss and Makeup Recycling Program." Just save up your empty lipsticks and email us for a label and we will ship them back for free and add empties to our Californian recycling program.
