A Collaboration with Free People 💋

I have some really exciting news to share with you I’m not even sure where to begin because it’s the culmination of so many ideas, dreams, and moments coming together.

Let me start by talking about the wonderful team at Free People. They have been such an incredible retail partner to Madame Gabriela. I have always admired their ability to really understand beauty trends and consumer needs, and their approach to curating products is nothing short of inspiring. With a strong network of influencers, researchers, and team members, they truly know what’s in demand and how to translate it into experiences for their customers. So, I was absolutely thrilled when the Free People team became enamored with the formula of our lipsticks and started brainstorming how we could create something uniquely tailored for their community.

And that’s where the idea for our new and exclusive shade, Tulum at 6PM, began.

The shade is inspired by my love for Tulum—a place that holds special meaning for me as a proud Mexican. It’s not just any shade of pink; it’s a nod to the vibrant sunsets that paint the sky in a spectrum of warm pinks and soft corals around 6 PM. There’s something about that moment when day turns into night, and everything is awash in a glowing hue that’s both invigorating and serene.

But there’s more to the story. Since launching Madame Gabriela, I have received countless emails from people saying they love the soft, wearable tones of our signature nude, Sydney at 8AM, but wanted to see something with just a touch more pink—a shade that’s subtle but radiant and perfect for every skin tone. They wanted something that has a bit more pop for those with darker features, while still maintaining that effortless elegance. And that’s exactly how Tulum at 6PM was born!

With the same clean, non-toxic, and nourishing ingredients you’ve come to love—like our UMF 15+ Mānuka honey, shea butter, avocado oil, and other skin-loving botanicals—this formula not only enhances your lips but keeps them feeling hydrated and cared for.
